Intro to Print
Leicester Print Workshop
11 September – 16 October 2025, 1pm - 4pm or 6pm - 9pm
This 6 week course allows you to dip your toes into lots of different techniques, perfect for absolute beginners or those looking to find a new way of working! With tutoring from myself and 3 other artists you will have the opportunity to learn screenprinting, monoprinting, lino cutting, drypoint, etching and letterpress.

Deeper Dives - Drypoint
Leicester Print Workshop
19–26 November 2025, 6pm - 9pm
Extend your knowledge of drypoint etching- perfect if you wish to grow your intaglio skills or have done our popular Intro to Print course, this two week course extends your understanding drypoint printmaking and will ensure you are confident in the studio and in the use of all processes. We will cover Chine Colle and colour inking using drypoint plates plus multiplate printing and registration on an intaglio press.

Introduction to Photopolymer (Solar) Plate

1–2 November 2025, 10am - 4pm
A weekend to explore the potential of this photo sensitive plate to create both intaglio and relief prints. You will work with photographs or hand drawn images and natural or found materials to expose onto the photo polymer plate - this is a technique with many possibilities and ways to realise your work.

Introduction to Photo Lithography
Leicester Print Workshop
30 November 2025, 10am - 4pm
Learn how to make a photo-plate lithograph which can express subtle tones using photographs and/or drawings.
Using many of the principles of traditional lithography you will see the interplay of oil and water to reveal your original image onto pre-sensitised plates, how to develop, ink up and print your plate to create a small edition of prints.
